How do you make the red part on the lower bumper clear/smoke? I’m contemplating replacing the light bar and CHMSL with clear versions, but you’re still left with those other parts on the lower bumper.
Yes, I’ve done away with all red on my car…The rear reflectors are covered in smoke tint - similar to window tint. Here’s a close up. Right side the sun is hitting it a little bit.
Not even close. Chinese specials off EBay. They are carbon fiber and were severely warped when I first got them. Sanded them down, reshaped them to conform to the rear fascia, primed painted and clear coated. I wanted to experiment before committing to paying for real Techart ones. I’m all in at around $250 including paint.

Anyone know how you remove them? I wonder if you could scan and 3D print a part that would be a decent match for the bumper black plastic.
A little blue tape below the reflector to protect the plastic panel, plastic pry tool you can get under the edge and work it out end to end. If you’re going for the match the plastic solution, satin or matte black vinyl will be close, and can be added to the factory reflector without removing it.

That looks great. And makes a surprisingly big difference!
