Gello evryone ,
Does the non-pse 992 Carrera s have a valve on the exhuast ?
if yes , can i open the valve manually ?
Yes, uses the same valve as PSE. Only difference is the muffler and that the valve can be manipulated open more or less. You do not need to change rear bumper valance or tips if you want to add PSE. No, you cannot manually control valve that I am aware of. Others on the Forum may be able to provide further information one way or the other.

Reason: Forgot to answer part of question
Your Dealer can activate PSE on a non-PSE car, and get about 80% of the sound of a PSE. I have done this on my last 2 992s, as I like the look of the quad exhausts better, but want a bit more sound.

I heard of that , but i doubt my dealer will do that for me , and if they do they will charge me at leat 1000$ .
I know the price doesn't make sence and i know that some other forum members here did this update free of charge/ or maybe 100$ charge , but im my country there is one and only dealer that can charge whatever he want's !!!!
Im also aware of the valve controller plug and play option too which i keep the last option .
Yes. Unfortunately the dealer who sold me the car didnt want to do it.
Ive found a local independent who has the Porsche software to do it so looking to get it done soon.
The other option Im considering is 992noise.com once it becomes available
Edit
from another thread with the retrofit instructions this is where it can be activated in PIWISSelect "0P8 SPORT EXHAUST SYSTEM STAINLESS-STEEL TAILPIPES" or "0P9
SPORT EXHAUST SYSTEM BLACK TAILPIPES" from the drop-down menu in the
"Value" column,

Yes i know some dealers are not willing to do such things , and if yes they will charge you a fortune.
looks like the valve can be removed without using the plug & play valve control module . ( cargraphic or kies )
look at the picture attached it seem like the valve itself inside the cat can be removed by screwdriver maybe !!
Anybody has thought or tried this ?

and why would you do that even if you can? The labor involved (and looks you dont want to pay labor to reprogram) will be multiples of reprgram or buy a $300 valve controller, plug it in yourself and done.

Unfortunatly my dealer refuse's to do the PSE reprogram , thats the only option i have becuase the car still under warranty .
The valve controller option is my last chance , i already place an order ، but if you think about it , removing the valve will be permanent without dealing with install/re-install the valve controller evrytime visiting the dealer which will avoid warranty if he discover the module .

That's nonsense. The valve controller does not void anything. And if your dealer is a hard head about it, don't you think they will "hear" the valve is gone (or reprogrammed) and tell you they would void your warranty too. And if you must, removing the valve controller is 30min max once you have done it once. Faster than findign someone with PIWIS or for sure putting the valve back in.

Yes our dealer is very hard on these thing , thats why i placed an order for valve controller ( pre-order) .
the think with removing the valve is that it wont throw fautly code or chick engine becuase the whole michanic still exist unlike the valve controller , they will throw once in a while a faulty code .
Im just curious if anybody has done it before .

I have a valve controller for almost 2 years and no fault code. Easy install. If your dealer really knows anything they would immediately hear the exhaust is louder in idle w/o valves.

Which brand valve controller you have ?
