I recently purchased a CPO 2021 992.1S and I have an obnoxious door rattle coming from the driver's door. I dropped the car off at my local Porsche dealership and the service guys placed some insulation material behind the door handle but it did not resolve the issue. It may be coming from the Burmeister speaker, but I hear it even if the audio system is turned off. I'm dropping it off again at Porsche service on Monday but I wanted to get some input from current owners. Appreciate it!

Welcome to the 992 rattle club. Just be grateful you only have one. Many members have rattle issues including myself. Some do not experience issues, but I would say interior rattling is a profound issue with the 992.
Haha, i guess my question is whether the service team will be able to resolve the issue. Otherwise the car is so perfect.
I'm sure they will with enough poking and prodding. I've never had mine looked at because the more disassembly happens, the greater the chance a new rattle pops up. You're choice if you want to roll the dice on that one. Some folks have had them fixed, others have just lived with them.
I have something similar on my passenger door of my 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera T (992.1). I narrowed it down to some harness loom in the area just in front of the door handle. I will be removing my door card this weekend to look for it. I narrowed it down to a vibration at exactly 76mph in 7th gear in SPORT with 100% open valves (M-Engineering State 1 tune installed). Once I do that, I'll add photos to this just in case it is helpful, but I suspect a harness or loom that is vibrating at the perfect timing to cause that rattle.
I have the same car as you and had the same problem. The door cards are very easy to remove. I removed it and banged around a little to replicate the noise. My rattle was caused by a linkage going to the interior door handle. I wrapped it in foam and put some foam behind it on the interior of the door card as well. Fixed it right up.
Yeah, they said it was the door handle last time I took the car and they placed some foam and it didn't fix the issue. I assume they just have to dig around again and place more foam or something like that.
Just wanted to follow up on my door rattle issue just in case it could help fellow Rennlisters.
Porsche of Nashville was able to identify and fix the issue. It was actually the silver brushed aluminum trim piece on the driver's door - it was not fully secured.
my " technique " is to thump the panel with the palm of my hand and listen for the rattle. So far is have got rid of 100% of the rattles in my turbo z cab. There were a lot of them !
