992.2 Base Discounts
even bigger discount for a registered car with 10 miles on it.
Different markets I accept but the U.K. dealers are awash with stock.
Interest rates up. Speculators vanished. Large ongoing price rises. The laws of marketing still apply here !
Heavy discounts were common during the great recession including discounted GT cars at one extreme.
Moderate ADMs on ordinary cars mid pandemic to 2023 with six digit ADMs on GT cars was the opposite extreme
The market seems to be slowly normalizing now, but I have not heard of a documented 992.2 sale below MSRP.
OP - go in and ask - it's that simple- and see what you can negotiate on this car. Let us know.
I got MSRP allocation two weeks ago on base 992.2 and was happy to get it - took a moderate amount of hunting just to find a slot.
PS:US and British markets are very different at the moment.

Ordered car, but canceled purchase while in transit due to personal reasons.
Two weeks after car arrived, walked in and decided on a simple one-pay lease for 12 months/15K miles.
To say I was (and still) ecstatic is an understatement. Will probably do it again as it's the perfect thing for someone who changes cars as fast as underwear.
The Best Porsche Posts for Porsche Enthusiasts
911 is a MASS produced car and yes discounts should now be available as its not hyper market like it was after Covid.
If a 911 is sitting on the lot - offer 10% off, whats the worst that can happen. In 2019/2020, ppl were getting massive discounts and yet somehow Porsche was still profitable!
Ferrari is having issues selling its new cars as well. Market is very soft right now.

This very well may be true but I just lost a used 2020 2S using this tactic. All it takes is one.

Yes, market is softening post Covid but not remotely to 10%. Prove me wrong with numbers before you call the responses here 'hilarious'.

Yep...that's the plan with success written all over it...LOL
Go right ahead and offer $135K on that $150K new 992.2...report back on the outcome.
What makes you think the 992 Porsche market is soft? Sure a few non 992 models have had some recent challenges...but 992's are not one of them.
I don't believe 992's are "mass" produced...every 992 is special ordered, either by a dealer or a customer. Finding 2 with exactly the same options is rare, and they make a lot of them because they sell a lot of them.
Comparing Ferrari sales and Porsche sales are literally two different horses.... the average new Ferrari cost is around $300K. If the average Porsche cost $300K... most of us wouldn't be here as Porsche owners on this forum discussing Porsche topics.
BTW...Ferrari 2024 sales were up 9% with a revenue increase of 16% over 2023....their best year ever.

It was also over a year old.
We discounted it like 3500.
I HIGHLY doubt you'll see anything.
