Love VGM. Debating b/w the Carrera S or Carrera Exclusive Design wheel - which do you guys prefer for a VGM 992.2/992.2S? Thought I was settled on the Exclusive Design but saw the Carrera S wheel on a white 992.s Cab today, first 992.2 sighting for me, and was surprised how much I liked the CS wheel. Feel like the CS wheel gets mixed reactions but it definitely looks better in the metal than in pics.

i've seen the Carrera S wheels in person and do not care for them. The thick lip around the perimeter is pretty ugly. It's tolerable when the rims are painted all black but I still don't love them. Would recommend exclusive design wheels over them any day of the week.

I totally agree with your thoughts on the Carrera S wheels. I just took delivery of my Carrera S in Carbon Steel Grey Metallic. I ordered it with the Carrera S wheels in Neodyme because I thought they would look good as a contrast. However, upon seeing the Carrera S Neodyme wheels in person, I strongly disliked the look. The wide lip doesn't work for me and the satin Neodyme just looks dull. Consequently, I have already ordered a set of Meisterwerks (MW-03) wheels in gloss Neodyme. I think the new wheels will totally change the look of the car. I am sure many will disagree, but I think all of the stock wheel options leave a lot to be desired.
This is exactly how I speced my VGM T. I think the Carrera S wheels in gloss black with the highly polished surfaces look great and the price was right. Like exterior colors, this is a matter of taste. I suggest trying to see these wheels in person. The combo is fairly common.
Just dropping-in to give a quick thanks to all posters for all the earlier photos of their stunning VGM cars. Relied on this thread and the discussion was super helpful as i went through the same motions ahead of the spec locking in.
