I was offered a 4GTS Cab allocation at MSRP, but passed as I just bought a SRS! If anyone perhaps want the 4GTS Cab, lmk. We can check if it's still available.

Is the allocation for the cab separate from a coupe allocation?

I believe allocations are model/trim specific.

This ^. It is trim and model specific. If an allocation is for a GTS cab, then that's what it is for.
The dealership can try and trade the allocation with another one or another store on their portfolio.

I see. That's too bad.

One thing I was wondering, if the date for an allocation approaches and if doesn’t get filled, do they just lose that allocation?
In other words, do I gain any bargaining power with a dealer that has an approaching allocation date?

They’d just build a dealer spec car.

I just finalized an allocation/order for a 911 C4 GTS Coupe:
  • Price: MSRP PLUS $5,000 ADM from Porsche dealer on the East Coast (Pennsylvania) [Updated: Originally I thought MSRP only; turns out wanted $5k ADM]
  • I'm in Kansas; fellow forum member put me in contact with a broker (one day ago)
  • paid $2,500 broker fee
  • wire transfer to dealer of $10,000 deposit
  • allocation was for original customer who backed out
  • scheduled for build in April, delivery in July (build would have been sooner, but delayed due to a leather option I wanted)
  • I plan to trade-in my current car (2024 BMW M8 Coupe) to dealership (driving there) to minimize KS Sales Tax (in KS, Sales Tax is calculated on net purchase amount -- New car price minus trade-in price)
  • whole process (from forum member initial contact to actual order in Porsche system) was completed in 2 days (I'm mentally exhausted now)

My current build is Gentian Blue Metallic Exterior, Dark Night Blue with Chalk Stitching Interior, crap tons of options (I got carried away)

Unfortunately I was not that broker but congrats! Sounds like a solid deal.

Just to add to the anecdotal GTS allocation search:

In Colorado, called as many dealerships as I could stomach in a ~500 mile radius and had no luck at all. Most were at least 12-18 months quoted.
AZ wouldnt sell out of state except one or two that were 10K over and 15K over for a Targa 4 GTS.
Talked to some in TX, KS, MO.
All in all came up pretty empty. Have a standing summer allocation for a C2S locally but really want a GTS slot.

Willing to go the broker route if anyone has a recommendation. TIA!

Are they selling at MSRP? If not what’s their ADM?

Thanks

Patience paid off. Offered MSRP allocation for the plain GTS coupe I wanted all along. PTS is N/A. I actually saw a screenshot from their system
PNA is overbooked on PTS and it's definitely shutting down indefinitely in June.
Bought from a Texas dealer I've done several cars/trades over the years. Customer was dithering a long time on the allocation and they backed him out.
Slate Grey NEO/PCCB/Night Blue chalk stitch interior. Produced in April be here this summer.
