As many have has said here, jet black metallic is slightly more difficult to keep clean and less forgiving of any haziness however when clean I do think it is a much more special color than A1 black. There’s a depth and sparkle to it that I think makes it worth the extra cost and maintenance.
Jet black metallic in certain lights can have a slight dark blue tint and it’s just a more exotic looking color that can better accentuate the curves of the 911.
Of course, it’s only worth it if you’re gonna be super on top of keeping it clean, shiny and spotless. If it’s a daily that’s gonna go a long time without wash and maybe get scratched just go with the A1 black
I like my Black C2S. If I had to do it over I might get the Metallic. I've had a Black Metallic car in the past and while it's not a whole lot better than plain Black, it does hide the dust and dirt much better. The best I ever had for hiding dirt was a Honda color I called Baby-$h!t-Brown.
.
Black, just plain Black.

Had a 991.1 in jet black metallic and I liked it. Also had a 993 in Basalt Black which I really liked. Currently debating Jet Black vs. Black for a 25 GTS. Looks like I might have plenty of time to debate. I’m number 1 on the list but my dealer doesn’t know when he’ll get an allocation.
I have JBM. I bought my car CPO, so I'm not sure I would've purchased JBM over standard black if I had bought new. However, I would in the future. JBM has a bit of sparkle to it. And, I love that. My car is full PPF and it still has that glimmer. I love it.
I did once read someone thought the JBM could look dusty and I begrudgingly agree that occasionally it can give that perception. But, most often it's a nice sparkle!
