I would like to go carbon ceramic brakes in my 992 C4S Aero Kit. I was quoted 50k for all the OEM parts from the Porsche dealer.
FWIW, I did a full conversion to the OE PCCB setup + ST rotors, and it wasn't anywhere close to that. IIRC, the complete set of OE parts (sans rotors) was like $8K.
It's an easy swap to do yourself. I think your dealer is wringing you out.

that is great to hear. Can you send me a message with the parts you ordered? The mechanical side I have covered in terms of doing the swap. I just want to be sure I have the right components.

Share some knowledge on what kits exist for this upgrade, or if retrofitting parts from another year/generation 911 work out well.
Couple pics of my car below.
We have Surface Transforms kits available for your car that retain the factory calipers. 350mm front and rear. These are the best discs on the market. Many kits sold for 992 S/4S already.

Are ST carbon disc is less prone to chipping when swapping wheel compare to Porsche carbon disc ?
I assume ST carbon disc also requires special pad ? Practically speaking are the ST carbon disc and this pad combo going to be dustless or roughtly the same dust as steel disc ?

Yes, much less so but you still should be careful. I rarely see these discs get chipped. Furthermore, STs can also handle some edge chipping without significant risk of major failure like you can see with OE PCCBs. STs with the Pagid RSC1 are virtually dustless and noiseless. It's way better than iron discs and pads. Several customers with 992 Dakar models (white wheels) have switched to this setup to eliminate dust. Bite, feel, and modulation with this package are excellent. Perfect for the street, track, or both. It's a pricey kit, but it is awesome and transforms the car, and customer feedback has been incredible.

Or spend $600 on Hawk Performance Ceramic pads (for street use only) as they have virtually zero dust and dead quiet. I put a set on my '24 T and love them.

send that link! I can’t find anyone that has the specific front and rear for our cars
I also think Porsche is charging $10k now for PCCB as OE now for MY2025.
Is this legit? I am looking to upgrade my T's base brake to PCCB. If it can be done for 12.2K, that'd about 10K cheaper than what i can get from Suncoast or other OEM sellers here.
