I just received my RS6 mount and the fitment in the car is perfect! However, I’m running into a slight issue with the Escort EZ Mag-mount accessory. The magnetic ledge appears to be slightly larger than the OEM version, which is preventing the radar detector from seating fully. Has anyone else encountered this, or did I perhaps receive a defective unit?

 

Not gonna lie, the mount kinda sucks. I very very carefully installed the mount, very light pressure on the screws, tiny little dinky screws, so I made sure not to overtighten them, and they still stripped out. 2 of 3 stripped out. How do I return it?

 

The billet radar detector arm was perfect, I was really disappointed at the thin plastic mount for the windshield base though. I was really stoked to get it installed, too.
