@Fuelish Pleasure this is a great build. I just picked up a 2021 C2S CPO in GT silver, full black leather/chalk stitching with 10k miles for 132k with essentially your build plus Burmeister sound system (MSRP 152k) so you might be able to negotiate down to 125-128k but if you like the color scheme then go for it.
@Fuelish Pleasure Nice! AFAIK, MY2021 and MY2020 were generally the same. When searching for my 2021 this summer, I did not uncover any issues to be on the lookout for per se other than rattles associated with the extended fuel tank, issues with lightweight glass, and concerns with the lithium battery. None of which I believe are in the car you are looking at. I paid about the same % of MSRP for a similarly priced 2021 with slightly less mileage. I probably overpaid a bit but the car was local to me and I had been on various “lists” for a new car with no joy for over a year, didn’t want to play the ADM game, and most used cars either didn’t have the right spec, had to be transported from other parts of the country, or were at dealers with firm pricing. At that time, the market was still hot. I would negotiate the price especially if it is located in the northeast (driving season on those summer tires is basically done). If you love the car though and it checks out, I would not belly ache over a few K. Almost every time I drive mine I think I waited far too long before making the purchase. It’s that good.
I am sure the veterans will jump in on the spec and pricing.
Here are the 2020/ 10k miles/ Carrera S "Blackbook" numbers for "retail" (what dealers are selling for) and "Trade-in" (what dealers are buying for)
So, the $130k is in line with an "Extra" clean vehicle.... but you can also see what a dealer may have paid for it.
You didn't mention if this was a CPO vehicle or a dealer purchase...I would want some type of warranty and be sure all the scheduled maintenance has been completed.
It's a 5-year-old vehicle now, so I would expect to see a list of standard maintenance documented.
If it's not a CPO...what's your plan for PPI and 3rd party warranty? 3rd party warranties will probably run well north of $8k...so you may want to factor that into your purchase estimate.

It is a CPO and will have 2 year warranty I believe.
In a similar vein to my original question, do first year 992 trade at a discount to other 992 model years (aside from age difference)?
Thank you very much for the detailed reply. I am a newbie (and a C7 Vette owner) and really appreciate all the support here.

Good to hear it's a CPO...You may want to inquire about a 3rd year warranty add on. It's usually available, but you may have to ask for it. If you're financing, just roll it into the loan, might be good insurance for the future.
As for your second question....my answer is no....992's no matter what year or options hold their value extremely well.
Take the car you're looking at....it had an original MSRP of $115K without options...add in another $29K (easy to do) in options and that car sold in 2020 for $144K.
5 years later...it still commands $130K... that's roughly a 10% depreciation...over 5 years! (less than 2% per year). Not many cars can pull that off.
Industry depreciation average is around 10% per year, so most cars will lose almost 50% value by year 5.

Reason: change
I have a 2020 C2 S. I have 40,000 miles on it. Mostly very reliable. Two issues with noting:
1. The seatback releases for this year of Car are often clunky and don’t work well. There is a fix that Porsche can do under warranty that basically replaces the seatback frame with the frame from a newer year to resolve the problem.
2. The entry system is not as good as in newer versions. You have to touch the door handle just right to get them to pop open. In the newer years, the handles pop up as you approach the car. Nothing to do to fix this.
3. The PCM can be updated to a useful size screen for Apple CarPlay and for maps. There is a thread for this.
The 992.1 is not substantively different from the 991.2.
I wouldn't worry at all about its being a first-year of that model.
It's more important how the particular car was owned and used.
2020 C2S early build 07/19. Tuned, FBO, and pdk tuned since 2021. Daily driver about 5k miles a year, now at 21k. Only had 1 issue which was the oil pressure sensor was intermittently going bad earlier this year, causing the "reduced engine power" pcm warning. Took dealer few weeks with the car to finally figure out and replace the sensor. I'm the only one I know of on here to have this issue on any 992. Other than that rock solid.

This. Especially considering it’s basically the same motor between 991.2 and 992.1.
I have a 2020 S with 29k miles (bought it with 11k), tuned, and it's been bulletproof minus the battery which was replaced under warranty at 12k miles. Now I just keep it on a tender if I'm not driving it (lithium).
