Agree. I could see this advice on a Honda Civic forum, coming from younger kids. But we’re talking $150K vehicles mainly driven by adults, and trying to hide repairs.
Completely agree with you, hiding repairs are just as bad as the hit-and-run person.

With respect to CarFax....I'm not trying to be dishonest. CarFax basically would state that your car was in an accident and, no matter how minor, no one would believe you. I would totally be upfront about this if I ever sell my car, but I'm pretty sure that won't happen because I love this thing!!
80% "good" on a nearly new $150,000 is BS. You will see this every single time you look at your car. Have it repaired properly with a new fender and move on with your life. 80% good, indeed.

Yes, I'm getting it fixed. Not making a big deal....was just merely trying to get opinions from others on approach to the problem. Thank you for your comment.

OP: I had VERY similar damage to yours that I described in the thread below. PDR managed to do a really good job and your damage does not appear any worse than mine. I hope you find it reassuring.

Is it 100% perfect? No, It is 90% to 95% there though, and at 30,000 miles I am at peace with the reality that cars that are driven do get into scrapes and get worn.

Thank you for sharing this! Your results came out great. My damage unfortunately is worse than yours. They started on mine but it got dark so it won't be done until tomorrow. So far the areas above the crease and the crease itself look great. Now they still need to make the areas under the crease smooth again. It's not done yet, but so far it's better than having to paint/body work.
