Default 992.2 GTS Delayed

Got a call from my dealer, my November build is being delayed until January. What are others experiencing?

Also, i could not spec deviated stitching, Porsche NA made me change

I called my SA today, he heard that some GTS builds are getting postponed, however he said that my GTS is still on schedule for October build, but there no set date yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm still happy with the good old .1 GTS. Might tinker with exhaust a bit more at some point, but plenty fast car for me. Too bad that US market also gets OPF on everything now...

Originally a late November early December delivery, meaning an August/September build. Now late march… but I’m Canada so I just avoid the winter.
Really not a big deal for me. My model year was 2025… does this mean it’s 2026 now?

Now that the port strike has been averted until January, I suppose they just had to get your build back into alignment.

the ytd status page just disappeared on me. My sa says that it’s due to the club leather shortage so the production schedule is unknown now. I am in canada too, originally oct/nov production.

Yes, all 992.2. GTS deliveries have been stopped due to technical issues. The cars get built and then stored waiting for the required fixes/parts.

Oddly I can't option out yellow deviated stitching on the 18 way seats (but many other colors available). Yellow isn't even an option yet you can get yellow seat belts. Is this just an oversight?

It is related to the Varta battery specifically produced for the t-hybrid .2 GTS.

Porsche seals investment in Varta subsidiary V4Drive ~ October 9, 2024

Worrisome if it's due to a technical issue. Less worrisome if it's due to Varta's financial issues as Porsche's investment should solve that long-term.

Deviated stitching caused my original NOV Build to be rejected by porsche NA

no deviated stitching allowed on first builds. And i saw yellow as an option fwiw. I was getting white deviated stitching but again build rejected and so was dealers other build that had deviated stitching
