OK, pick part my build :)
Coming off a 718 Boxster GTS, FYI.
Your thoughts appreciated, and some misc:
1) Tailpipes in black or silver?
2) Amazed that I can't add Vented seats this the 4 way Sports Plus seats. Adding vented will cost me ~$3800(800 for the vent, 3000 for the 18 way seats)
3) LCA? old Boxster has it, I never EVER used it. Forget it was there TBH.
4) and yeah, this leather is expensive especially on a base build, but DAMN I like it!

Thanks very much,

Thanks very much,
1) get rid of stickers, it's tacky
2) get rid of power steering plus, it's basically useless
3) heated steering wheels always seem to have issues and barely work, plus it's another thing to go wrong in the car
4) might want to consider lane change in the event some ahole creeps up on you without you knowing, $800 well worth the added safety. The other things are useless
Overall great build, simple with only the necessities imo. Lock it in!

Thanks very much,
Vented seats feels nice in the summer
LCA is useful but not that necessary. I like it
I have the steering column leather and it's nice
I would recommend the surround view but it's 1600 and bundled with active parking now wtf

1, Silver
2. Cooled seats are nice but not neccessary
3. i won't buy a car without LCA, ACC etc. when i'm just cruising home on the boring highway in the evening i just flip on ACC and chat with my passenger or relax a little. it's also brilliant in the rare traffic jam.
4. the leather is nice. the red paint plus tan interior is class
5. premium package with surround view is a must. again, never getting another car without soe of these driver aid features. don't use them if you don't want.
6. PSP is a waste. as is the gas cap

LCA is a must, it really should be standard on the car. The side view mirrors are full of those wide rear hips.
Everyone ordering Sport Chrono should understand and accept the risk of the noisy motor mount problem (couple of detailed threads here on it), which (at least in the 992.1) cannot be repaired. If I had it to do over again, I probably would not get SC, I understood the risks and unfortunately my car has the issue.

I like surround view a lot and would not option a car without it. But it's one of those things that you won't miss if you've never used it. I have two cars without it and one car with it. It helps me back into parking spaces or snug up next to a curb on end space very easily and quickly. I also find LCA very useful and yes, I do have my side mirrors adjusted correctly where I'm not looking at the rear fenders. I currently have two cars with it and one car without it and I think it's useful.
Color choices are subjective. Yours are classic and complimentary. I think you should take the exhaust tips in chrome as it ties in the rear with the bright wheels on the side and the bright detail elements in the headlights in the front.

Surround view can be nice to have on a large SUV but not needed on this. I don't miss it. ACC is definitely unnecessary, just adds to the fact you have the wrong transmission. I would avoid too much gloss black exterior. Get the 18 ways and the vented seats and skip another thing or two for budgeting.

Do you ever intend to drive the car long distances? If not then I personally would drop the extended range tank.
The leather steering column is a nice touch, but you will rarely notice it.
The 4-ways are fine for most. I had them once before and have ordered them again.
Ditch power steering plus. It is not needed.
Unless you intend to actually install the Porsche dash cams or hardware a radar I would ditch the dash cam prep. I did this on my latest build as I never utilized it on my last build.
Go with the black exhaust tips.

Worst complaint I can level against it is trying too hard to look like a Ferrari, but classic is classic for a reason. If this was my build I would consider adding the colored center wheel caps, but I can also appreciate the subtlety of the standard caps.

Yep I did the same thing and read thru all the replies before looking at the build. We are a hilarious bunch with seriously weird priorities:
"Power Steering and a fuel tank big enough to not stop for gas 3 times a week for $530 for both? More comfortable seats? A surround camera to help you park nicely and not scrape up your $3K wheel upgrade? Lane Change Assist so you don't cause an accident? A better sound system? All wastes of money!"
But no one recommending sacrificing the sports exhaust or the Porsche logos or the $600 'paint the underside of the mirrors' options. We have our priorities: look fast and sound fast!
OK but seriously:
Surround view: SO helpful. It's my shortcut button. Saves those wheels from evil curbs.
Lane Change Assist: should be standard safety equipment on every car.
I'd just grab the Premium package with all those goodies. Every '25 I looked at on dealer orders had optioned it, so cars without might not hold value as well.
And yeah the gas cap should be the "I've already bought every other option and still have extra money" option.
The red and tan is beautiful. Classic for a reason.

One thing I would consider is getting the 20" / 21" Carrera Exclusive Design Wheels and getting them in Satin Dark Silver. I think it is one of the best available wheel choices available for the 992.2, and most people don't know that they exist. See pictures below.

My suggestion would be to skip the sunroof, unless you love the idea of one. And add in the Premium Package, which will pull in LCA (required IMHO, and should just be standard on all cars), Bose (that you have separately), and Surround View (having lived with it for a few months now, I love it, even though I was not sure about it when spec'ing my car). Other than that, very personal selections that you will enjoy. And love that there will be another Carmine Red 911 out there - looks stellar on the .2 with the decent amount of black exterior trim bits. A good balance of black and red works really well.
