Hi, I am thinking about getting a new 992.2 GTS4 and was wondering if anyone that has had the previous model could tell me what's the ride like on bumpy roads with the PASM option, Also is it worth getting the noise reduction glass? The salesman told me unless I am going on track the car I would not need the GTS4 and the rear wheel drive would be just as good on the road.

I'm assuming you're referring to the PASM (raised 10mm) suspension, which I have. On the 992.1 this resulted in the standard S suspension, which is quite firm. The 992.2 is a bit heavier and may have slightly recalibrated suspension to reflect the increase ... or not. I suggest you get a test drive in a non-lowered 992.1 S or Targa GTS (which has PASM standard) to get a feel for the ride.
I would only recommend GTS4 if you regularly encounter adverse weather, particularly snow. I've driven through a number of deluges in wet mode and the 2WD handled it with aplomb.

What car are you currently driving?
For example, I daily'd a 991.2 GT3 RS for about 15k miles, and find the suspension and road manners/compliance of any trim level, or setup, in a "regular" 911 to be plush and soft. Conversely, after a few weeks in my Ferrari, the compliance on a 911 just seems harsh.
This is really dependent of your experience. It can be rough, bumps are exaggerated. Speed bumps are brutal. I wanted a sports car and got exactly what I wanted, zero complaints. It drives pretty smooth most of the time but you occasionally learn roads not to take home.

I don't see a need for the GTS 4 unless you plan on driving in snow. 2wd is way more fun, and the front end is really light.
Skip the acoustic glass, it's been giving too many issues.
What do you consider bumpy?
I had a 996 a few years ago and found I had to pick smoother roads to enjoy it. I now have a Audi R8 and found the ride to be very good. Hoping the new 992.2 will be just as good.

Don’t bother asking people with the previous iteration as the 992.2 GTS is running softer front springs with the upgraded suspension architecture and is supposedly the best riding 911 in the lineup now.
All 911s come with PASM so maybe you mean SPASM with the 10mm drop?
Lots of different opinions about the lightweight noise reduction glass here - from what I can tell, it’s louder than the regular glass and is prone to damage without reducing all that much weight.
GTS4 is the only version of the .2 GTS available to order right now.

Watch the savagegeese YouTube video, he talks very positively about the ride quality of the new GTS.

Matt Farah states the same. New 992.2 GTS shocks react faster due to the 400V architecture which allow them to run softer springs. He said the new car rides much better even with SPASM.
I had the 992 C2S with PASM then the 992 C2GTS with SPASM suspension and helper springs. The PASM suspension is noticeably better on bumpy roads, the softer and 10 mm longer springs dampen excellently. the GTS's suspension does not filter out bumps and handling is affected. I was able to experience driving without and with the soundproof glass there. Still the difference is notable, the insulation is effective on the noise of the vehicles we pass and on all the noise around the 911. On the other hand, the engine noise and rolling noise are not reduced. An option to absolutely take if you opt for an expensive audio system like the Burnmester

I didn't opt for the glass. With your observation, I'm glad I did not. Road noise is my major complaint and on certain surfaces, even normal conversation is drowned out. If the glass wouldn't help ...
I just took delivery of a GTS4: I find the ride to pretty smooth in comparison to my old GT3 and GT4 on the road. I would have got the c4 if the C2 had been an option. But never having had a c4 the acceleration is insane feeling all 4 wheels grip; feels like a cheat code.

I just received my third 992 a week ago , this one is a CS MT , and just yesterday after driving around for a while I noticed that the ride was annoyingly harsh . I looked at tire pressure and it was 52 in the back and 46 in the front. The ambient temp was 91
so I deflated the tires to 42 and 36 and that made big improvement
my 992 C4S ride quality was the best on winter tires
and I in general find GT 911 cars to have better ride quality than regular 911 variants despite people might think otherwise
