Is there any other option to permanently display the outside temperature on either the center or instrument displays, aside from the small, far left one?
I am aware that it shows up in reduced view or using the weather app. It is not an option in the customized 4 line screen or the far right one, best I can tell.
I think there’s an option to display in the top right of the center screen. I think that’s how mine is set, but I’m not home to look at the menus right now.
I have it on the left and top right. One day they will get the outside temperature to read correctly. Mine is always around 5 degrees warmer then the outside temperature. My BMW is always spot on so I know it can be done.
Is the temperature sensor the little “nub” that sticks out on the left edge of the central grill area of the front bumper? If so, I think it is in a good position to measure external temperatures; it is far away enough from heat sources from the car. May be it is the accuracy of the system that is off.
In the center display where the clock is on the top right (if you have the clock) if you press and hold the clock on the touch screen you will get an option to switch it to the temp.

It is the option above customized when changing the right screen. It has a bunch of useless information though - time date temperature, and cell service
