Default 992 Production Delay

Hey Guys!

Unfortunately I discovered today that one of my 992's has been delayed until September, yet my second one on order with a later production date made it through production early. I have photos of the delayed car at the end of production, both are Targa 4 GTS' just different options on each car. Anyone know what might be causing this delay? Was originally supposed to get the cars within 2/3 weeks of each other and I was really looking forward to possibly doing a double delivery. Any input would be nice!

If you had Exclusive Design items on your order that could be why is all I can think of as I know GT3s are delayed with similar issues.

Default 992.1 Targa GTS

Same boat...received feedback from TMD with photo of completed vehicle in early July, delivery was to be early August. Few days later TMD states car in production and leaving production September 8...

So sudden delay for 2 months, after car has been manufactured (based on the pics they post)

Have you had any update?

Thanks

Hey all, a few months late to the thread but I am curious if you ever found out what caused the delays in V260 after the cars were seemingly done.
I am in the same boat now where my car entered production on 10/16, was supposed to be out roughly 10 days later, I received production pictures (including the 'it's done and will take the elevator down..') - and then it got stuck in V260 with my SA now telling me it's scheduled to exit production on 11/21 (a full month after receiving the 'done' pictures).
I don't have ED, no 'after build' exclusive manufacture items. A very long options list but all stuff that - I assume - would have been installed by the time the picture was sent (all 'standard' options).

Did you dates pull in (or take even longer)? Any ideas what could be delaying production AFTER they seemingly are done?
Thanks!
