Default PCCB question

Do cars equipped with PCCB’s have dust shields behind the rotors? I have a 992 GTS Targa 4 with steel brakes because they had a stop sale on PCCB’s in 2023. I bought surface transform rotors but the front one hits the dust shield. I’m thinking that maybe cars with carbon ceramic rotors don’t use dust shields. Can anyone verify?
Thanks

At least on the 992 GT3 and TTS, they do have dust shields. .

Default Retrofit PCCB's ?

Follow up... I also bought my 2023 GTS and wanted to order PCCB's (and LWB, PDCC, etc), but they were not available.

Is it possible to retrofit PCCB's with Porsche parts ? or would this be crazy money ?

Thanks. I found the part number for gts cars with ceramic brakes but not one with steel brakes so I don’t know if they are different. I’ve been trying to reach Rick Hinz all week but can’t reach him. I suspect I have the wrong rotors. They are different part numbers than listed on his website but he hand wrote in 992 GTS on the box.

The standard and ceramic both have dust shields. But they’re different part numbers.

possible but crazy money. About $5900 per rotor plus pads. And even more if you wanted yellow calipers.

Google Byers Porsche Parts, they have a pretty good online parts search system.

for PCCB retrofit, by far the most economic solution is to purchase the GT3 PCCB retrofit kit - this can be had for around $15,000 and includes 4 calipers, 4 rotors, pads, sensors and hardware. I believe there are adapter kits to use the GT3-size brakes on the standard 992, but don't know specifics. BTW, the PN for the GT3 kit is 992 044 600 00.

Great. I spent more than this for the surface transforms not including calipers.

I've purchased 2 sets of the PCCBs from Eurospares - not quite sure what shipping would be as I had them shipped with a lot of other parts - there pricing is amazing. I also purchased a set of Manthay GT3 wheels from them for around $10K. . .
