I would not be concerned the least.
It will be fixed and then you can start enjoying the experience.
Crap happens- my 2014 GT3 sat at the port for 6 months until the engine was replaced before I was able to even put 1 mile on the car so I understand the "new" car experience.
At least you will get her back before July 4th weekend!!!

The new one should fix the problem. Main thing is no one got hurt. Better to fail now instead of later on a high speed highway.

I’m starting a GoFundMe for your sales advisor. I can only imagine what you are doing to him/her.

I am sorry to hear this as well in that I am currently going through the same thing with my Porsche Certified 2021 911 [992] Carrera S. I purchased with 10,250 miles. first week of ownership while in sport mode and not driving hard the reduced engine power light came on. First attempt to fix, software upgrade. Happened the second time, new engine wiring harness. Same problem. Now is the shop replacing the fuel injector on cyl # 6. Staying calm and working with the dealership whom have been very good to work with. Good luck and hope your issue gets resolved if not so already.

Im wondering if this is due to bad injectors(in that case Porsche should use another vendor because this is not an isolated incident) or whether the injectors clog due to contamination during the assembly process, perhaps something in the fuel tank/lines that runs into it and clogs or damages it. Either way, it sucks and I hope you get back on the road quickly!

Hello. Just sold my 2021 Carrera S with 5k miles on it. After the break in period I began giving it some gas and eventually ended up getting the same code for fuel injector. Found myself only occasionally stepping on the gas because I was afraid of getting another Code that would ruin my day. Long story short, all of the injectors had to be replaced one by one due to a batch of bad injectors over a period of two years. Bottom line, if over the break in period rev it past 6k as often as you can to get the issue surfaced. Light only came on after 5k revs. Once all were replaced I was finally able drive vehicle as intended but then sold to order a Turbo to comb the bad experience out of my hair.
