iPhone battery drains and it gets hot when connected to CarPlay
New 2024 Carrera 4S. The phone gets so hot that is uncomfortable in my pocket when connected to CarPlay. Any solutions for this problem?

errrr, take it out your pocket lol..
but seriously, this is and has been an ongoing issue, maybe they have solved it in the newer versions of the i phone, my wife's droid drains superfast as well, if you using waze or google maps.. i always take mine out and have it connected to the charger and on a mount it stays cool enough but its only an SE, its about 6 years old... super high tech i know.. i mainly listen to podcasts or music on it, on a long journey i use the car navigation, and then waze in a passive mode for alerts.
when i used to use inductive charging in my M2 it overheated as it was enclosed in as tight space, in my 992 '20 it plugs into the center console for Carplay, i did a mount and cable to have it out in the open.
