No - I'm too old and crusty to do youtube videos . . . the world does not need another Porsche "influencer" . . I will however post up lots of photos as the project develops!
The more I think about this project, the more excited I get - 1000hp 2WD lightweight TT GT3 with PDK, RWS, all the convenience features, and the S/T bodywork . . . winner.

Is that the power figure you’re shooting for when this is all said and done?
Back from Florida and ready to dig into this! Amazingly, received the new front end from Europarts in UK - only took 2 weeks! Tomorrow, going to figure out how to configure the Celette jig and get the body bolted up. Then the fun begins - trying to separate the front section from the body . . .
All Aluminum - VERY light! Beautiful new piece - can't wait to get this bolted up. These are the Celette MZ "towers" - used to bolt to the frame jig, and then mount the body with the adapter set. The adapter set from Celette for the 992 is VERY comprehensive and well documented - comes in nice foam boxes. These are the mounting jigs specific to the GT3 - mounts to the upper wishbone on the front section. This is the "full" configuration - all the possible mounting points. This is another configuration will less mounting points - I'm going to have to do something in the middle as I don't have enough towers or cross sections at this point for the "full" configuration
A bit of progess - the worst part of the job is complete - removing the front end. It's AMAZING how much seam sealer Porsche applies - really seems unnecessary! There had to be 10 lbs of sealer on the front that had to be removed before the rivets are drilled out - not the funnest job. All in all, about 2 days of work to remove the entire front end. Glueing on the new one is the fun part!
I discovered that the Celette 992 jigs I purchased are the new modular MZ+ system - what that means is the cylinders that slide into the towers are not included with the body mounts - thus, had to purchase that kit that wasn't cheap. Should be here this week, and then I will mount up the body, glue on the GT3 front end, and then clean up the glue, and send down to my paint shop in San Diego. Still need to strip and clean the entire cowling and prep for new front section, but that will be a few hours of work.
In reapplying seam sealer, we will do it by hand, and only seal the seams. . . we will use a lightweight underbody coating in the wheel wells. All in all, the product should look MUCH cleaner than factory, and probably a few lbs lighter.
Glad to have the old panels off, and now we start to build!!

This is beyond badass! If you need some light weight street wheels that'll fit a meatier tire so you hook up, shoot us a message! We specialize in GTR drag packs but can make something special for you.
Spent a few hours this evening cleaning up the cowling to prep for new front end installation. All ready to go; just waiting on a few parts from Celette in order to fully configure the frame jig. This will bolt up the rear body, test fit the front end and make sure everything aligns, then glue and rivet! I'm anxious to get this into paint so the fun work can begin . . .
Cowling 90% prepped - ready to bolt to Celette jig! Waiting on some MZ+ "piston arms" in order to mount the 992 jig plates - should be here any day, then we can complete the new front end install.
