Decline all. It can lead to funny conversations. When I declined the extended warranty, my finance person started arguing about how unreliable and expensive Porsches are. I told her I had no idea I was buying such a piece of junk.

As others have said, decline any extras they try to sell you on.

What about glass insurance? A windshield in this car is probably $2k with install and calibration, I thought I read here that glass coverage allows one windshield per year. Sure you have regular insurance for glass, but push a couple of windshield claims through and your rates are going to go up.

I got ppf at the dealer also, price was fair and it avoids the logistics of transporting a brand new car to a third party installer and leaving it there.

i also plan to pass on the extended warranty. I just don’t put enough miles on per year to justify it.

It may be worth while getting windshield protection film installed.

Would recommend Fidelity through Michael at Steingold. I did a claim on it and they actually paid. Covers windshield, wheels and tires etc.

A Volvo dealer sells 3rd party Porsche warranties? Isn't there a Fidelity poster here?

Appreciate the referral - be sure to share the Fidelity branded site, as the one above is branded for Volvo vehicles only - link here: https://factoryprotect.ratessys.com/

Congrats! And I've learned over the years to say no to anything the finance team offers.

Congrats, decline everything unless you give the car to your wife to pick up the kids from school everyday lol In that case, get the wheel tire insurance. My wife took care of the front passenger wheel/tire few weeks after we got our Macan S. Cost me 125 to fix the wheel and 600 to replace the tire.

BTW, how much markup did you pay?

Couldn't be happier with the transaction....smooth process, and they featured it on their Instagram:
