The PENULTIMATE wheel weight thread
As I wander through my journey to the ultimate 992, one critical factor is wheel selection. As I found out the hard way, wheel weights are HIGHLY variable, and seemingly similar wheels can have dramatic weight differences. Thus, I thought I start this thread to list actual wheel weights. While my inventory is limited to 992 TTS and GT3 models, my hope is that other will contribute and post actual, accurate weights for others looking to make an educated decision. I weighted these today on a recently calibrated scale, so weights should be within 1/10 / LB. Here we go!!
First, here is my set of Meisterwerk P101 copies:
Meisterwerk 20x9.50 ET45 Front - 27.6 LBS
Meisterwerk 21x12.50 ET48 Rear - 34.8 LBS
Next, stock GT3:
Stock 20x9.50 ET45 Front - 21.2 LBS
Stock 21x12.50 ET48 Rear - 26.2 LBS
Next the TTS "sport package" wheels (same wheel, but different color):
Front 20 x 9.0 ET 41 21.2 lbs
Rear 21 x 11.5 ET 67 24.8 lbs
Last, the new Manthay GT3 Wheels:
Front 20 x 9.5 ET 46 18.0 Lbs
Rear 21 x 12 ET 45 22.2 Lbs
I have two sets of HREs - a standard P101 on my TTS, and a P101LW on the GT3. Those are mounted up right now, but next tire change I will post weights. My guess is that the P101LWs are pretty darn close to the Manthay wheels. The finish on the Manthay wheels is AMAZING - beautiful wheels. Those are going on my GT3T as soon as it's back from Deman / M-Engineering for the 4.5L upgrade!!

I'm guessing by the weight figures you're listing that these are weights without the tires. Weights without the tires are what is the valuable information.
FWIW, Tire weights can be all over the map, but are just as important when going shopping, Even more so, because of their dynamic location and its effects relative to the suspension points.

Yes, weights above are without tires or TPMS. . . I have a good selection of tires as well, so will post weights for the various flavors of tires as well.

The Mantheys sure are purdy. Definitely have to coat the cutouts well.

kind of hard to compare w tires - if you get a chance, please post weights next time you change tires w/o tires . . . thanks!! I suspect those will be quite similar to the TTS wheels, which are actually pretty light. . .

FWIW, TireRack lists the OEM NA Pirellis at 22lbs for the front and 32lbs for the rear, putting the wheels at 22lbs front, and 26lbs for the rear. This puts them within the ballpark of the TTS wheels.
LMK if you’d like me to delete my posts to reduce noise on your thread?

No - this is great - some data is better than no data, and this tire data is probably pretty accurate, and foots with what we would expect. These are very reasonable weight wheels - well done Porsche.

That is ridiculously heavy for monoblock wheels.
