I was offered an incoming 992.1 GTS in PTS and Manual for 30K over MSRP. I am also on the list for the 992.2 GTS and was assured that it would be at MSRP.
Should I take the 992.1 PTS or wait for the 992.2 allocation?

If you need to ask Rennlist, you shouldn't be buying cars.
This is a very personal question and the answer would vary depending on who you ask.
at this point in my life, I’d only want a manual car, so the 992.1 is my choice
Thanks. Totally agree it's very personal. It's just the matter of ADM, I would pick manual any day but just can't justify paying hefty ADM for a model that's on it's way out.

$30k is on the high end for a 992.1 GTS. That said, PTS was relatively rare so I can see why they're asking for more.
I had a non-PTS, 992.1 GTS allocation in February with $10k ADM.
Where are you located? I've also found ADM tends to be location dependent (e.g., California ADMs are higher than in the mid-west)
The ADM makes sense. I'm also in NorCal and ended up buying a car from SoCal after calling every single NorCal dealer for a 992.1 GTS allocation and came up empty.

Yeah, I saw your comments about Porsche RWC and other NorCal dealers in some of the threads. Your experience is inline with mine.
Would you rate the SoCal dealers higher than the NorCal ones in terms of lower ADM, better experience, etc;? Because I heard that the ADMs are equally bad or worse with SoCal dealers.

I find that Socal ADMs are just as bad as NorCal if not worse, but they seem to have more allocations.
I've purchased 2 cars from the same SoCal dealer. (Both with ADM) When I inquired about a 992.1 GTS, they were able to get me a buildable allocation within a few days. They were not willing to budge at all on the ADM despite having purchased a car from them before.
If it's helpful, I can text my SA in SoCal and see if they have any 992.1 GTS with less of an ADM than $30k.
