Default Interior detailing

I haven't seen any posts about detailing recently and I have a question regarding interior detailing. What products are you all using for cleaning and maintaining the leather interiors of your cars? I have a GTS that I plan on keeping forever and want to maintain the leather. My previous cars have all been cloth seats and vinyl or plastic dashboards so I figured I'd see what people have found to work best for their cars.

Griots make a nice leather cleaner/conditioner. As for dust, use a Swifter.

The Swiffer Duster is essential for the upper dash.

I hadn't considered the swifter but that's an easy solution for keeping it clean

For leathe Drcollie says to use 50:50 water:distilled white vinegar with a pump of hand soap. Shake and spray microfiber then wipe area. Takes about 10 min.

I use Carpro InnerQD on a microfiber for routine wipedowns of high touch areas. It's very mild and leather safe and contains anti-static additives to keep dust down. For glass, piano black plastic and infotainment/instrument cluster screens, I use Stoners glass cleaner on a no-pile microfiber glass towel.

P&S Interior. AMAZING.

I did try the water and vinegar option once. The dirt laughed at me.

A damp cloth is all you need for the leather in the interior.

Leather conditioner is a waste of money as all you are doing is cleaning the plastic clear coating over the leather.

(should I explain the above? nah I'll wait for the first "what are you talking about" comment)

I am no leather expert but have seen this exact advice given countless times on forums etc. This has worked great for me over the years along with a Swifter and a gel ball to roll over the vents and switching gear. There is nothing complicated about cleaning your car, inside or out.

I remember in the 70's when Armorall came out and we would saturate the entire interior. You couldn't touch $hit without getting greasy and ruining your clothes, not to mention you'd slip all over the damn car taking a mild turn in my 1971 Ford Gran Torino LMAO

Ohhh....and the top wax of choice was DuPonts Rain Dance

Took me years to finally realize a duster and damp cloth works as well as the 100’s of cleaners on the market. For smudges and high touch areas a diluted soap sprayed on a quality microfibre towel works well. Never spray the car or you waste most of your time cleaning the overspray.

Diluted vinegar and water work fine on the seats but I prefer my interior to not smell like pickles.
Koch-chemi leather star is light and dries matte. They also make a good interior APC, Pol star, safe on leather, carpet and textiles. Meguires D180 is also good.

I am another user of CarPro InnerQD. Good stuff and I have been using it exclusively since it launched in 2022.

I started coating my leather seats a couple of years ago to help protect them...

For routine cleaning of the interior and seats, I use either of these...
