Default GT3 Skirts on ‘24 C2S

Suncoast says the gt3 skirts fit up to the 2023 model C2S, anyone install on their 2024 car?

Mine’s a 2024 Carrera T, but I just installed GT3 skirts today. Can’t imagine there is any difference between a T and an S as far as fitment goes.

There are multiple threads on this. One of which is very long with many many examples of people doing this.

Suncoast very clearly states: “Fitment Update: For later 2024-2025 models, minor trimming is necessary to fit around the jacking point.”

Took this picture of the GT3 side skirts underneath stock skirts from 2024 C4S. Need to trim the former to open up the space, width-wise, for the jack point, as stated...

does it appear to be solid once in place? I worry that since it requires some trimming per the other comments that it will wobble/come loose?

Is that a pretty easy fix or will it compromise the stability/fit of it leading to a loose skirt?

It’s just a jack point clearance issue and doesn’t impact attachment.

Maybe it is because my car was an early 2024 (August 2023 delivery), but I did not have to do any trimming at all. The skirts fit easily. The only fiddly bit was reattaching the plastic plugs that run the length of the skirt. You really have to push the skirt upward, into the underside of the car, to expose the clips through the holes in the skirts. Then the plastic plugs pop right in.

Seems odd to change something like the jack points in the middle of a model year, but I remember from my days owning a 997.2 that there were a few "weird" issues with the late 997.1s using 997.2 part numbers for certain small parts. Maybe the late 2024 992.1s started to phase in some minor revisions from the early 992.2s.

Hope this helps

I had to do some trimming around the rear jack point on my '24 T. It wasn't much and doesn't affect how tightly the skirt fits. thx bc

Easy.

I did a trace and the plastic is soft / thin enough to use a heavy razor blade to do the cutting. That's what I used. I personally followed up with a very light sand using the dremel, but that's only because I wanted it to be as clean as possible. Not even needed.

If you have some heavy duty scissors, you could even use those. Simple. An unintelligent kid could do it.

As others have said, no impact on fitment security...

The difference for MY24 is pre 6/13 production or post 6/13 production units. if your car is built post 6/13/24, the jack point is different than the cars built prior. A new part number with a B followed by the number is needed for post 6/13 cars. No trimming required. Surprised Suncoast didn't figure this out.

Just wanted to follow-up on this thread quickly for other '24 owners out there. While I unfortunately can't get the exact build date of my car, it does look like it was early June based on an old email chain with my SA. So, that lines up with the information above. However, I was curious so looked at my original side skirts and, low and behold, they do have wider opening around the rear jack point just as those pictured further up in this thread. Nonetheless, the jack points on my car do not interfere with my untrimmed GT3 side skirts. I thought it was interesting that I appears that I had the late '24 side skirts, but the early '24 jack points.
