Go with “Original”.
  • White will be create too much distracting contrast with your muted interior
  • Yellow just doesn’t match
  • The bright red will conflict with the Bordeaux leather because they are different shades

Porsche gives us a lot of options, and it is tempting to click quite a few of them to personalize our cars, but stick with the classic, simple, elegant color choices.

I think it's ultimately a personal decision. Full disclosure I have a GT silver Targa GTS that will be arriving very soon with full black leather and deviated stitching package in Bordeaux with Bordeaux belts and I decided to go with a white tachometer and chrono dial. I also wondered about the guards red tach, but if you look at it in person (which I did in the showroom next to Bordeaux) they definitely clash. Carmine red dial might work with Bordeaux but it is only available with the GTS leather package and not an option on its own.

Hope this helps. I think yellow makes the least sense of the options in the poll.

On my GT Silver TTS Cab with Black/Bordeaux interior and red top I went with the red Tach and am very happy with it.

Same. It may not be a perfect match, but in the car I can't tell (day or night) and I think the pop of red looks great with our interiors.

I think the white looks nice, a bit motorsport. Thats what I went with in my $0 T interior. My only advice if you go white is maybe skip the matching white sport chrono dial, that reflects in the windshield.

Red seems to look nice with the Bordeaux as @Just J showed.

Otherwise there is nothing wrong with original.

This is the build I am going with. I am keeping tachometer original color. I have it that way on my current 992 TTS. I open to suggestions on my current build.

I have a 992.1 C2S on order with GT Silver and Bordeaux/Black leather. I went with the stock dial color.

Keep it stock. Just because a cost option exists, doesn't mean it's better than stock.

I too left mine stock with the same color as yours. You will have plenty of color with your interior already. But its your car and your build so you do you and enjoy.

@fantom557 Unless you are going with a total black interior I would suggest to keep the Tach stock.
