per Flat6 - yes. only difference is turbo and tuning both of which Flat6/MEngineering can address.

I would do it then. seems like a good deal to just get a T and tune it to a gts

Depends on what you want.
I got the T specifically because I wanted the smaller turbos with the more NA feel (more linear power with turbos coming in a bit quicker).
Sounds like a GTS with the lightweight package and a tune would've been that car for you.

The cost to put GTS turbo's and a tune is less than most people were paying in ADM for a GTS.

Yup. This plus the car I bought was on the showroom floor with a spec that I liked.

Yeah Im planning on doing this as well down the road. Now hopefully APR can make a tune for 2023MY 992s so I can have APR Plus to keep my warranty for a few years. My previous 911 had turbo leaking problems which were addressed by warranty so I want to be conservative

Warranty is provided by APR, not Porsche. I’de be worried that they would push back on certain engine issues and not give you $ for compensation.

Im aware its aftermarket warranty. I always think APR as a very reputable company. Are there horror stories about them denying APR PLUS warranty? But yeah I might just keep things simple and get GTS turbo with Cobb/M Engineering tune a few years down the road. Stock Carrera T power is great on street/back roads. But on track I’d like more power to get away from M cars lol

So, how will the Base Carrera or the Carrera T wheels handle that power given that they do not have PTV (Porsche Torque Vectoring).

Btw, what do they have? A limited slip differential?

LSD and PTV are standard. With the S/GTS turbos and a stage 2 tune, I'd swap to Cup2s in 255/325.

I think LSD only, PTV is available only on the Manual T, I have checked the specification sheets of all the trim levels. The S and GTS have the PTV+.

I do not think that PTV is available on the PDK for the Base and T.

Base definitely doesn't have it and you may be right about PDK T. Mine is manual and never looked into PDK T so I don't know.
