With the 20+ different 911 models, why isn't there a Targa Turbo S model yet?

You'd think that considering how in-demand both the Targa and Turbo S are as separate models, adding a Targa Turbo S to the lineup would've made a ton of sense by now for the Porsche corporate bean-counters

Would be pretty dope. I'm not an engineer, nor do I know much about rebuilding cars.....but if you look at the Convertible mechanism and the Targa mechanism, they are actually quite similar in form and function. I bet a 991.2 or a 992.2 Turbo Convertible could be converted to a Targa. Would cost a lot and you'll never get the $$$ out of it, but I bet its possible.

Last week, there was an Aventurine Green Targa GTS available on the show room floor in Peoria, Illinois that just came in. It’s a fairly heavy build at $207k

No idea if there’s an ADM

I was nobody (first time Porsche buyer) so I had to wait 2 years to get my Targa 4S allocation and another 6 months for delivery. I think only around 8% of all 911 is Targa so they’re rare and in high demand.

Update!! I got a call from my dealer and got a slot for August build Someone canceled . Most Likely 992.1. Now I have to pick a color!!

I still have my slot for the 992.2 Targa when it is released.

I now it's personal but just want to get a feeling of colors that look best.

My turbo S is ice gray so not doing that color again.
