Yep! thats a good one. would be touch to ever say goodbye to that spec. My original order was my current car with PTS Irish Green but PTS got denied so I've got your non PTS sister car.

PS, I have had 5 Jet Black (or Basalt) black targas in my history, so love them!

Love that color! I recently sold my 997 Targa that was dark olive metallic with cocoa interior to replace with a new Carrera T coming in around mid July. Dark olive metallic has such a crazy variance from shrug your shoulders “meh” in the shade to absolutely WOW when direct sunlight hits it. Great choice to pair with that interior; I’m jealous!!

Will have to come down and check it out someday, maybe meet @protamine as well. I need to snag his interior.

Your color combo is my favorite and if it was available when I ordered mine, I'd have selected it. Sadly it wasn't, however should something come up I'll do as you just did.

My new targa just came in on Saturday night, was at the dealer for a few days and then getting a full PPF for a few days after that. So it finally got delivered on Saturday evening. (I use Porsche Beachwood in Cleveland, due to the lack of allocations from my 2 dealers here in Cincy...)
After having several targas over the years, as well as a 2020 992 4S coupe and the 2022 992 Targa 4S, about 6 months ago I got an allocation which allowed for PTS. So I jumped on it! Even though both the PTS and Heritage Interior (at the time) were both supposedly not available, I was able to secure both. This is my first porsche in all the years I have done Paint To Sample. So it was a difficult choice - but ended up going Dark Olive Metallic, with the Cognac Heritage Interior. What a special color, it is very dark (almost Charcoal/Black) in non-direct light, and a very dark metallic green in very bright light. I snapped a few pictures of it to show the variance this color has.
I know I say this to myself every time I get a new 911, but this one actually might be a keeper, it is quite special. Also, having the sport tex seats and full leather in my 2022 targa, this heritage interior is just next level...
Well anyway, enjoy the pics. It is a tough color to accurately capture, and since only a few pics exist out in the wild on this, figured I would snap a few - at different lighting - to hopefully capture Dark Olive Metallic the best I can.

Congrats! That looks fantastic! Such an epic color. Hope to see it sometime around town since I am also in Cincy. When I spec'd my Targa I really wanted a green with the Heritage cognac interior but Aventurine had just been discontinued and Kings couldn't get me PTS. I think Gentian Blue was a nice second choice. Are those the Zunsport grills in your bumper? I am debating add those since my buddy was the victim of a rock to the radiator a few years ago to the tune of like $2k to replace the radiator on his 911. Did you install them or did Beachwood?
