Mine from Suncoast had the same defect. I returned it for exchange.

Checked with Suncoast and they gave me this link. Looking to see if my local dealer will match and order for me.

Hmm got two from the same dealer; just arrived this week. Both are perfect no defects present. Would check again with them and get a replacement.

I actually let it sit for a couple weeks on my desk and it improved.... then gave it to a friend for his display case at his shop. .

Ordered another from Suncoast and it arrived perfect and included the gasket.... interesting.

I think they may need to settle... Id leave it out in the sun possibly?

I just returned mine and a couple of weeks later I got a perfect replacement. Installed the caps and hood emblems. Just waiting for some parts for the airbag cover.

Just ordered both turbonite and 2025 version. Let’s see when it shows up. I have guards red car so am not very sure about turbonite

There is definitely either a manufacturing issue allowing poor quality out the door, or perhaps a different sort of coating on these Turbonite badges — mine arrived new from Suncoast with several blemishes. There is no discernible protective film which can be removed based upon my close inspection. If “curing” is required then there should be instructions on what to expect/do — but this seems unlikely due to others receiving perfect badges without issues.

No such experience with other Porsche Badges in the past, but this seems to be a recurring issue based upon prior posts…

@Bluver let it sit for a few days or weeks. Mine cleared up on its own

Installed mine last week and looks great! No blemishes and also did a 2d set for my Carrera S. Easy update…and nice look. Waiting for turbonite wheel caps next! 6-10 weeks from Germany according to dealer but have credits so will be at almost now cost so worth the wait! 😎

Isn't it funny how given the non-colored crests for wheels we want the colored ones and vice versa for the hood emblem?
