Ordered from Sunset Porsche in Oregon... total disaster and no communication. Badge is defective as you can see in photo... stay away from these folks just FYI.
Hmm got two from the same dealer; just arrived this week. Both are perfect no defects present. Would check again with them and get a replacement.
Mine arrive......has same film marks on it, Uggggggggh !! what have most done? Return or attempt repair. If repair......how did you get these marks off please ?
Thanks
I just returned mine and a couple of weeks later I got a perfect replacement. Installed the caps and hood emblems. Just waiting for some parts for the airbag cover.
There is definitely either a manufacturing issue allowing poor quality out the door, or perhaps a different sort of coating on these Turbonite badges — mine arrived new from Suncoast with several blemishes. There is no discernible protective film which can be removed based upon my close inspection. If “curing” is required then there should be instructions on what to expect/do — but this seems unlikely due to others receiving perfect badges without issues.
No such experience with other Porsche Badges in the past, but this seems to be a recurring issue based upon prior posts…
Installed mine last week and looks great! No blemishes and also did a 2d set for my Carrera S. Easy update…and nice look. Waiting for turbonite wheel caps next! 6-10 weeks from Germany according to dealer but have credits so will be at almost now cost so worth the wait! 😎 Turbonite hood badge Turbonite OEM VS Color OEM hood creats Turbonite installed on 24 Quartzite Gray Cayenne Coupe OEM color on chalk 992 Chalk 992 turbonite Chalk 992 Turbonite side profile
