Everyone has greatly different opinions on this very subject and I am in the camp of that it really does not matter on a base car because that is essentially what a T is. FYI, I was a 2024 T owner until this past week.

Don't care-bought it for me but based on the reactions I get at every cars & coffee, HPDE's, fun runs, and from complete strangers I don't think it's going to be a problem if I ever do sell it.

Are you getting the upgraded leather on your S allocation?

Of course, but solely because of the interior color that I have selected, aka not boring black. lol

Clearly YMMV. I have known my SA for nearly 40 years so I am not at all swayed on my Porsche builds.

Flat black. It looks fantastic. Only switch to high gloss black if you are optioning Carrera S wheels in high gloss black.

2. Should I delete the Carrera T side decals?

Just depends on if you like the look. I skipped them, but I'm not into stickers.

3. Power Steering Plus really needed?

Absolutely not.

4. I've read plenty of debates on RAS, and it seems to be 50/50 on get it or ditch it......I personally don't care one way or the other, BUT...does it help resale value having it?

I optioned RAS on my 991.2 Carrera T and did not care for it at all. I was quick to skip it when specifying my 992T. But I view the T as a road car, not a track car. If you are planning to track your T a lot, then RAS makes better sense. You say you don't care, but if you drove the T back to back with and without, you'd care. As for resale, that is unknown. But I know I would skip the car if it had it. As an aside, I never think for one second about resale when I specify a 911. I used to do that years ago, and it led to cars I was not completely happy with.

No matter what you end up with. Your going to love it.

Congrats and enjoy.
What is LWBS?

Guys!! This is all GREAT feedback and I sincerely appreciate it. Very educational. I’ll have it dialed in and order placed on May 7th or 8th and I’ll post my build.

Most of the Porsche SA’s are not some kid off the street. They are long time professionals and don’t get in to the “I can make extra money by talking them into FAL” crap. Their commission does not yoyo with the sales price of the car.
