Congratulations. Hopefully smooth sailing through ports. That corvette looks great, never wanted one but the current gen turns my head.

That's very interesting that you tried out a C8, they appear to be great value for the performance, i had a C6 for a short while, nice car, i just couldn't get on with Jean shorts and white tennis shoes so it had to go and i got a Hellcat, but then the mullet didn't work for me either.

so onto your T.. did you go full Aerokit? i spent time on the configurator and had a lovely build but then wifey put the kabosh on the coupe as we were trading in here Z4 M40i vert, and we ended up with a CPO 992 C2S cab, not a bad compromise to have to make, the coupe is where my drothers are, it looks like your spec harkens back to my 996 Aerokit car in my signature...well done how exciting

I did the full Aerokit on this build.
I’d say that was a good trade for you !

Did you guys buy the C8 Z06s to flip, or you genuinely didn’t like them?

Nope, I have had a few C8s and wanted to try out the Z06 but man is the car buzzy and stiff. The engine is cool for what it is but really needs to be driven at higher speeds or higher RPM to get the punch. Its a track car for sure and driving it in tour mode is the equivalent of Stingray in Track Mode. Its considerably stiffer... just not my taste having played with my Carrera T which does everything good.

I rented one in Nevada and in sport plus or whatever they call it there was an annoying drone. Didn't care for it

If the Z06 had a stick, I would have considered it before I bought my C2S. After having my C2S for a year+, I would not consider the Z06 even with a stick.
