I figured. I have a manual and no button on dial. What does the button do on a PDK car? Mario Kart turbo boost push-to-pass?

Correct, that's the 20-second "sport response," which drops the gear down and (I believe) gives you a little more boost in the turbo cars. In my Cayman 4.0, it just dropped the gear down as low as possible.

I tried to find any spec what exactly it does but could not find it except some generic stuff...now wonder how much boost or other parameter it changes besides shift timing and RPM increases and how much increase in whp/wtq it correlates to.

I thought we already talked about this. Supposed to monitor battery voltage.

So there's a big difference in what you see through regular or sports steering wheel?

I remember in one of the YouTube reviews, it didn't make a difference in 0-60 or quarter mile. Don't recall, but I thought it was interesting. Probably just for highway cruising and passing real quick.

From a Porsche press release, the Sport Response button was "Inspired by motor racing, it preconditions the engine and gearbox for the best possible responsiveness at the push of a button. In this state, the vehicle can produce optimal acceleration for up to 20 seconds, such as for an overtaking maneuver." I believe that it spools the turbos for maximum response and the PDK will hold third gear to redline even in Normal mode.

In addition, it also downshifts to the lowest possible gear for acceleration, depending on your speed.

After much fiddling when I first got the car, this configuration has remained consistent for the past few years.

Is there any way to see tire/tyre temperature? I can get pressure but known temp would be helpful.

Also, if there's a way to change what's on the left side of "track view"/reduce mode in a GT3 I'd be very interested to hear that.

The Tire Temperature Display is IMHO fairly useless. But here is where they are. I suspect that the information that is being displayed is coming from the Tire Pressure Sensors. So it's not really measuring the Tire Temperature as much as it's measuring the temperature of the Tire Pressure Sensor, which isn't really the same thing.

Just got my 911 on Saturday and still going through all of the menus and configuration. One question and I can't find it in the online manual. How do you change the two outer most circular dials on the instrument cluster? I can switch between left and right, but it only allowed me to switch the inner more dial and not the outer more dial...

Am I missing anything?

I don’t think we can. There is some you can change from setting in the main screen but that’s it.
