Just get the base model - comes with black standard (although not glossy finish) - and I saved you at least $50k!

personally I like the black...don't care for drawing attention to the calipers...but with so many of these similar threads..do you like vanilla or chocolate?

My 996 C4 had sliver calipers
My 997 C2S had Red
My 992 T has black

Not really sure ive even thought about the colors... they are all fine

High gloss black looks classy

I am cheap and have been having this debate for 2 weeks (build locks Monday). Will prob just suck it up and pay the 900 dollars and find someway to make more in my job. I like the black calipers.

I went with red calipers on gentian blue, but then again, the interior is black and red so I feel the red outside is just a fair warning about all the red inside.

Have two sets of summer wheels/tires. Went with the classic this year. Still think red is was the right choice

I have a GB 4S, and I paid for the black calipers. I also went black trim and clear
tails to remove all red that I could. It works for me. I like it. I think it’s a bit crazy you have to pay extra to get the black calipers that look like the base model but whatever.

I’ve had red calipers on three 911s and yellow calipers on two others. It was definitely time for black and I’ll select black again on my next car regardless of the paint color. Two exterior colors are often enough and sometimes less can be more.

Thread bump… I am currently waffling on the red or black calipers with Agate Grey over Bordeaux. Currently leaning towards black.


Edit: Added screenshots. Via the 3rd attachment the red calipers appear exceptionally loud with the Carrera Classics. Is that typically the case?
