BTW, the 911R you pointed out is exactly what Frank suggested . . . he also is a huge fan of the Tarpan Brown / Pepita. So I'll probably go with some shade of dark brown in the Tarpan / Truffle family . . . want to find some truly special soft, amazing leather. I was going to go with a standard black interior as I really didn't like the mono-tone brown interiors. Then I saw the 2 tone brown / black, which I love.

E.O. is top notch. O.P., Frank and the team did an excellent job on your car. He did my Sport Chrono/Dash trim, dash speaker grilles, dash end caps, door triangles, GT3 RS door strap trim, etc. It was worth every penny.

Default Sport Chrono air vents

I contacted Frank and he provided a quote, I'm excited to get some leather upgrades.

On the quote he has the Sport Chrono vents in leather. I am wondering if exposure to the hot California Sun will cause problems with the leather on those vents. They are on the dash and will see a significant amount of sun exposure. I am opting for the Sport Chrono in leather, I just question if I should do the vents as well.

Any suggestions one way or another. This is a daily driver so it will be parked in the sun while I am at work.

Thanks!

I doubt you will have any problems given the quality of Frank’s work. Full Sport Chrono trim in leather looks great if you have full leather. Plus it is pretty much in your line of sight all the time so I say splurge where you can see it the most. 🤘🏻

Add ceramic window tint on all the windows, including the windshield. You can use 70% on the windshield. That will significantly cut down the UV and help prevent damage from the sun.

Default Mojave Beige leather upgrade

I contacted Exclusive Option to set up an appointment, I want to dial in my options and I don't think I can visualize the modifications that were specified in the quote. I am looking at a 2 phased approach. I want to wait for the winter months to do the items that are not easily swappable in a day or two. It is now prime driving season after all. I would also like the input from the experts at Exclusive Option that I just can do via phone or email. I know they are busy and I hope I can get up to see them soon. I am in the South Bay so luckily they are easily within driving distance.
My car came with Leather interior Black with Mojave Beige (Option code: BO). In my opinion the car has too much Mojave Beige.

Phase 1:
  1. Two piece leather dash trim in black (short and long pieces)
  2. Electric steering column in black with beige stitching
  3. Front center tunnel that is beige plastic covered to black leather
  4. Center armrest from beige leather to black leather with beige stitching
  5. Driver and passenger knee pads on the center tunnel to black leather with beige stitching
  6. Passenger cup holder cover from beige plastic to leather
  7. Change small beige plastic dash cap next to cup holder from plastic to beige leather
  8. Change dash end caps from beige plastic to beige leather
  9. Change plastic black sport chromo and vent from plastic to leather / beige stitching
Phase 2
  1. Rear seat tunnel cover from beige leather to black leather (area between rear seats).
  2. Update driver and passenger door panels to include handles in leather
  3. Change sunroof headliner from factory cloth to Racetex.
  4. Change A and B pillars from factory cloth to Racetex.
  5. Other pieces....

I could opt for the sun visors and the rearview mirror cover. I am still not sure if that is important to me right now.
I don't want to do the door sills as that would take a beating as it is a daily driver. The fuse box covers, eh? I'm not overly excited about covering them in leather at this time.
Did I omit anything significant?

I’m with you on visualization, but Frank can send you photos of everything you want done. I probably hang photos of most of what you want, albeit not in the color combinations you want.

Pulled the trigger with Exclusive Option!
I sent Frank 8 photos for my stage 1 upgrade. He said they will be ready in 4-5 weeks. He sent some photos of his prior work, it helped immensely.
Thanks to all for the advice! Excited to see the results!

Congrats!

I just ordered more stuff from him today and placed a big order last week; there was another order pending prior to last week’s order. Current tally: $17k in total upgrades through E.O.

Thanks bro!

The moment you think you’re done, you come up with a new idea and down the rabbit hole you go. I’ll try to summarize everything I can remember off the top of my head that I’ve done (..and attach pictures):

1. Dash speaker grilles in black leather with Chalk stitching
2. Center dash speaker grille and Sport Chrono hood in black leather with Chalk stitching.
3. GT3 RS door strap trim in black leather
4. GT3 RS door straps in Alcantara with Chalk stitching
5. Door end caps in black leather
6. Dash/door trim in black leather/Alcantara
7. GT3 LWB side bolster protectors in black leather with Chalk stitching
8. Center console outer portion in Alcantara with Chalk stitching
9. Lower center console trim and tray in Alcantara
10. Steering wheel selector **** in Alcantara
11. Dash end caps in black leather with matching stitching
12. Upper door triangles in black leather with matching stitching.

Pending orders 6-8 weeks out:

1. Steering wheel with 4mm added thickness in Alcantara with Chalk stitching; Chalk leather at 12 o’clock (…and I’ll likely have him make a portion of it perforated Alcantara; awaiting confirmation)
2. Steering wheel hub in Alcantara
3. Steering column in Alcantara with Chalk stitching (..replacing my OEM leather wrapped steering column)
4. Center lower A/C vent in Alcantara with matching stitching
5. Ignition in black leather with matching stitching; dummy key in black leather and Alcantara
6. Outer door sills in black leather with Chalk stitching; Alcantara inserts with PORSCHE embossed (…replaces the model designation in the door sill)

That’s all I can remember at the moment, but here are some pics:

…and these are some stock pics he provided of my pending mods:

These will be black leather. The dotted line will be the Chalk deviated stitching, and the area in silver will be Alcantara with “PORSCHE” embossed instead of the model designation.

This was an example of an outer sill he did.

Mine will have matching stitching like this, but will be Alcantara wrapped.

Mine will look just like this pic and the one below it, just for a manual column rather than an electric column.

My steering wheel will be this thickness, Alcantara and the same Chalk leather marker at the top.

My ignition will be leather wrapped like this, but without the Chalk stitching. The dummy key will be leather wrapped on the outer portion; center portion will be Alcantara without the Chalk deviated stitching.
