What were those build features on your first GTS that you didn't like? Just in case it helps OP and others speccing

I’m also jealous you can have the option for either! I hunted near and far for a GTS and was only able to secure an allocation after paying $10,000 ADM.
This is about half your ADM, so yeah, feeling lucky. I do like the extra options and agree on value retention especially if the 999.2 goes to automatic+hybrid.

What's China or Nardo Grey? These are not current build options that I can see.

The build wouldn't go to V200 with it. I chose IGM and after seeing it in person, I liked it enough to continue with it.
Tell me more about V200. My SA is asking me to consider dropping aero despite it being available because there could be significant delays if the build gets rejected. Unclear on how this would play out IRL.

Both great but excel at different things.
Don't fall for the noob, simple minded idea that "more (cost, HP, etc.) is better". It isn't. Buy the right tool for your preferences, environment, and intended use. GTS is great for Florida. T is great for NorCal.

The above is unbiassed. Here's my biassed opinion: Having owned over a dozen 911s of all generations and favors from aircooled to GT cars, and as someone who prefers NA, manual, and more visceral, analog experiences, the Carrera T is the only non-GT 911 that interests me. I own one now and I get a second one in a couple of weeks. My other 911s currently include a 7.2 GT3, a 7.1 GT3 RS, and a 911 ST tribute.
Awesome feedback – thanks!

If saving money is the priority, buy a base stripper 992 for $116,500 and then add Pure turbos and M Engineering tune for $10k-12k cost (including labor) and then you are getting GTS PDK performance plus for about $126,500 - the price of a stripper T. Base would lack the bigger brakes and helper springs of the GTS. You also give up MT, lightweight package and GT steering wheel with a weight increase of about 135 lbs. over the T. Weight increase, however, is more than offset by GTS level minimum increases of 100+ hp and 90+ ft. lb. of torque. That is how I would build a 992 on a very tight/low/limited budget.

Is going ADM for gts $20k? Everytime I scour the forums here, all I read is people getting it at msrp.

I would get the GTS ONLY because I would always wonder what the GTS would be like if I got a T. I haven’t driven a GTS but I have owned a T for a month now. It could use some more power but I actually enjoy driving a slow car fast, it’s so much more satisfying. With the light weight glass, rowing through the gears and hearing all the mechanical noises the experience is great. I personally don’t feel like I’m missing out on the GTS. As others have said, with a few thousand dollars I can always get that power

Having lived with a TTS for a year and a TT prior to that as well as an M5 Comp which was just as fast...the novelty has worn off a bit. Not sure I care that much anymore about 1/4 mile times. It's less impressive now that dorky Teslas can blow your doors off.

I'd probably get a T. Low option build with buckets and no backseats. Get it as light as possible.

You can spec a T with RAS, but not PDCC.

V200 status is if the build gets accepted by Porsche. For my GTS, I wanted SB colour and aerokit (just the wing and front, can't do centre lock wheels). Since my build was close to the SB becoming discontinued, SA tried putting it through, but it would get rejected (almost immediately), so I went with Ice Grey Mettalic with a Carmine Red GTS interior.
My build was supposed to be built on March 12th, but got pushed by 5 weeks due to Carmine Red deviated stitching of all things, no issues with the aerokit.
Once you go through and get a confirmation number, you can see the V200 (and other status) on the website (need to inspect the code, but **** easy).
