Michelins on my Carrera S that finished production 3/15

Great news and exciting to see it coming soon. I think as you predicted in your OG post, it’s a bit random. Michelins, Goodyear, Pirelli’s all making it through the rotation, with no perceivable pattern based on the posts above.

I wonder if it's tied to your rim selection (which would maybe make sense, they pre-mount all the tires and rims and just slap them on). It seems like the Carrera Classic rims mostly come with Goodyears?

I too am having second thoughts regarding the Goodyears. Drove my buddy’s Boxster today which was outfitted with Goodyear Eagle F1’s and the ride was smooth, quiet and the grip and dynamics were all excellent. In speaking with a friend who’s a mobile tire installer for TireRack, the Porsche N-Spec Eagles are manufactured in Germany and are much better tires than the standard passenger car rubber.

992 do not come with Continentals (at least the non-GT/special cars afaik). It's either Michelin, Pirelli, or Goodyear.

My Carrera T finished production on 3/26 and has Michelins!
