TLG Mud Flaps - Side Profile

I am thinking about another screw since that doesn't seem like a big deal to me. I already have mine out far in the front I figured it would be better to cover as much of the tire width as possible to minimize what is thrown the best it can.

Got my flaps today. They don't look like they've been redesigned. Any thoughts on preventing debris from collecting. Perhaps a strip of foam along the perimeter to cover the gap btwn the flap and molding?

I have the updated version and there is now an extra screw and bushing that has helped immensely in keeping the flap close to the wheel well and preventing debris build up. Makes a huge difference! I would contact Kies and ask them to replace them. They have great customer service!

I installed fronts yesterday, very discreet and I believe will be worthwhile to protect the hips.

This is for the rears only? I just have the fronts and they seem ok.

Checking back in as I got pinged on a DM and thought I'd check back. A few months on and my flaps are doing well. Have done about 1500 miles driving over a mix of roads and have NOT had rocks hitting the rear wheel arch as far as I can tell.
I also do NOT have any rocks etc getting caught in the top of the flaps (see pictures) but these are on the front not the rear. Only driven in CA with NO rain/wet roads or mud but I have driven over quite a lot of gravel and there's nothing there.
Having one extra screw right at the top, yeah, that might help.

For those of y'all with TLG mud flaps, about how low beneath the rocker panel did it hang down. I'm guessing the lower it is, the better the coverage. But if it's too low, wouldn't it snag on speed bumps or inclined driveways? Thx.

At least for the fronts, the slot between the wheel arch body and the wheel well lining has a natural "stop" point - I just slid it down until I felt it seat at that position, and then put the screws in.

On the install video, which I followed, you put the lower flap in the rocker panel and slide it up to the seam. I slid mine inward a bit to where the flaps were still inserted but not by much so you can't really see the holes from the outside.
