Default Remove catalyst from stock link pipes

Anyone try to go old school and just rip out the catalyst (or drill a hole thru it?) from the stock link pipes?

old days we’d jam a broomstick through an old cat converter. Lol

My take is that with the cost of cats now, it doesn't make sense. Feels "cheaper" to just buy some straight/ de-cat pipes.

+1 Decat pipes are so cheap. Also you will need your stock cats if you ever decide to sell your car in the future.
