Default Factory Stone Guards

What areas of the 992 C4S does the factory have stone guards on when they are delivered new? Is it just the area in front of the rear wheels, or do they have it on the rocker panels as well? It is a sport design side skirt/ rocker panels, if that makes a difference. Thank you.

It’ll just be on the rear hips in clear film.

Im sure you’ve seen the black stoneguards, same thing, but clear film.

Stone Guards are applied on the front fender on the rear of the front wheel well opening, the front of the rear quarter panel before the wheel well opening, on the back lip of the rear fender behind the wheel well opening and down low under the rear bumper.

All of mine was removed when I had PPF applied to the entire car. I had an additional (sacrificial) layer applied in front of the hips so I wouldn’t need to replace the Film covering the rear quarter panels from rock nicks.

This area catches a lot of debris. I'd recommend removing it and getting greater coverage PPF.
