Default Brake squeaks on new 911

I’m still have my brakes squealed on my C2S with 250 miles on it. They are the standard units. Is this normal? I’m tempted to give them a harder run in but have been kind of gentle during the break-in. How have people dealt with this?

Do 100 and stand on the brakes when you see a deer.

Are you having brake squeal every time you brake or just when backing out of your driveway or creeping forward? I would get a little squeal under those circumstances.

That's your brakes begging to be used harder.

100% normal and can be generally improved by a bit of hard braking.

You need to brake harder.

Or bed in your brakes, not because the OEM pads/rotors need bedding but b/c most likely you've been babying your brakes so much that they developed a layer of glaze.

TL;DR drive harder, brake harder, repeat.

I have been on the fence about bringing this up (yet) again. I had a 2020 718 Spyder which I sold back to my dealer when I got an allocation for a Targa 4S. I took delivery of the Targa right before Thanksgiving. My Spyder had frequent squeal, but the brakes might go weeks without any noise. These Targa brakes are insufferable. I've tried bedding them, perhaps not aggressively enough. I've got about 1400 miles on it and those brakes are showing no signs of quieting down.

I found the official video back when I got my Spyder and I've read plenty of "sports car brakes are loud" posts. I'm genuinely curious about who here has loud brakes and who has silent brakes. Maybe I'll try to make a video so I can compare the sound my car makes to other folks.
