It is a generic VIN for the Sports Classic. You cannot order Sport Classic parts without providing valid VIN proving you own one to keep enthusiasts from upgrading their 992s with SC parts (i.e. ducktail). So, Porsche has asked dealers to not disclose true VINs for Sport Classics on internet.

A curiosity? Have you checked the pictures? Is there a reason why it doesn't have the plaque with the production number on the dashboard on passanger's side? I thought all the Sport Classic have one. Is there an option to order it without it? I sent a message to the dealer but never got any response. Thanks!
