Default Lightweight glass

If you have not seen this bulletin, you might find it interesting if you are considering light weight and noise insulating glass.

Was this remedied for the 24’s? This bulletin was released in April 2023 and there are no remedies for some of the glass panels mentioned in this communication.

Exactly my thought. My understanding is that the issues remain.

How do we know if our car has the old glass or the new glass?

Yup. That’s giving me pause to spec on my build. Porsche is unlikely to replace after warranty if I keep the car for long.

my 2024 T glass is all Pilkington. I don’t think they are a new supplier.

Had the lightweight windshield spontaneously crack while in storage as well. Porsche replaced it. Hopefully it’s the new version?
