New account, long time lurker. I currently daily a LC500. Great sound, it's comfy but its weight is noticeable. It's power unfortunately is barely usable for my daily commute, just constantly feathering the throttle. Maybe I'm just getting bored.

One major reason I'm leaning TTS is because psychologically it's what I consider the peak for a daily driver, meaning I (hopefully) will stop trying to upgrade and window shop for the "best".

I've owned both 991.2 and 992 Turbo/TurboS. Currently have a 991.2 GT3 Touring and owned a 992 Carrera S.

Dynamically, I'd rank the 991.2 Turbo on the bottom and the 991.2 GT3 at the top.

Power wise - no comparison, the 991.2 Turbo/Turbo S is much more explosive and powerful feeling than the 992 Carrera S/4S. This is not a subtle difference.

I think the 992 interior is a better fit for the Turbo models and the 991.2 interior is a better fit for the GT3. 991.2 is smaller, much less PCM centric and more intimate. The 992 interior is more techy and spacious and this makes a lot of sense on the TT/TTS.

The thing is - you are getting rid of the LC500 because it's heavy and has too much power? In that case, the 991.2 Turbo S makes zero sense. It's like more of what you had before.

If you want something with a lighter feel and touch, then the Carrera models will give you more of that than the 991.2 Turbo.

The TTS is not for everyone. I'm sure it's great for those times when some gadfly in Beemer want's to start some crap but, other than that, the S (or the base for that matter) is plenty car.
