Here’s my ‘23 Turbo S Cab with full front Xpel. I have put PPF on all my P cars and this stuff is phenomenal. No change in color and the self healing properties of this is a great solution if you put any real mileage on your cars. Highly recommend it!

First Porsche + first time having PPF on a car. Just had the full front done (+ ceramic coating) - def no color change - on 10/27 so not really any experience w/it yet.

i love the look of the satin wheels against the gentian blue paint. one of the best porsche combos i’ve seen. i need to find a set of satin wheels now.

These are actually a slighter dark shade - these are the standard "titanium gray" wheels on the Carrera T, which is not quite the same color as the optional "satin platinum" that are available on the Carrera S. Not too far apart though. And then there's the "satin dark silver" available on the GT3 Touring - I really like all three of these wheel colors.

@adm63, they were able to apply the PPF directly over the “911 Carrera T” logo on the doors?

Yes, I believe thats how they did it. I am happy with the outcome, a quick glance in the garage tonight I dont notice any air pockets or halo around the edges of the decals, now 8 months since installation. I can snap a picture for you tomorrow if you would like a close up.

Thanks. I’ll appreciate that. :-) No rush.

Tougher than I imagined, but here are some close ups of the decals. The last picture you can see I had to hold my phone no more than 2 inches from the surface to be able to capture the overlap of the decal edges. You can see there is some halo effect when you get those close, but it has turned out nice and even so from a normal distance you dont see it.

I have PPF over the T door decals as well. It's gives it a slight "ghosting" effect on Python Green which I actually like. No bubbles, no pulling away from the T decal after 6 months.

Thanks for going through the extra trouble. Yes, this looks neat. Good to know that the decals do not need to be removed before applying PPF.
