great inspiration for sure! glad to know I'm not the only one who wrapped it with the thick stuff and then properly explored the limits off road.
kudos for the trail use! that's the next Dakar merit badge I need to go chase.

Only real damage i took was the wheels and a hole punched through a mudflap from dragging it on a rock. touched the underbody skids a few times but barely a scratch in them. stock the car comes with some heavy duty plastic "armor?" added to the lower control arms in the rear and standard 992 plastic undertrays. I swapped the undertrays to the Carbon fiber reinforced plastic ones from porsche techquipment. Seriously impressive for how light they are. Im not sure the real world protection offered by them but i took a standard hammer to them and couldn't smash a hole in it. Unfortunately the rear oil pan and turbos don't have armor so slow and steady is the game over some of the more nasty Rocks out there. Currently looking into Portals for more clearance. I want to run AoAA and Rausch creek but i think they're a little to knarly for the 911 as it sits.

I'm likely to take the Dakar up to NY/VT/NH in Feb/March for some ice driving if you're interested. Audi Club runs a bunch of frozen lake events which I've done in the past and are a bunch of fun.

Well done sir. You bought the car before the hoarders, I mean collectors, could stick their VIP hands out. You are actually using it in the way the engineers intended it to be used instead of locking it away in some hermetically sealed warehouse to be sold 20 years from now at an RM auction for 5x.

Bravo sir! Can't wait to read about your next and future adventures. As we say in the offroading world, "keep the rubber side down". Enjoy!

Well it's finally clean from Vegas, This is a little bit of the dirt pulled out of the intake tracts and air box's/filters lol , the car drove like it had 100hp before we cleaned it out.
The filters have seen better days
This Dirt came from the intake tracks as we cleaned it

Yeah not the best presentation for the accessories imo. We used the included double sided tape and and factory bolts in a few places the mud flaps allow. then they ripped off the first time we offroad it so we rivited them into the fender liner and the black lower body cladding. when we put the next set on ill take some photos up close.
