The carbon pieces from DB Carbon are excellent quality but stick-ons actually do look like stick-ons.
Three 6 inches of precision cut carbon fiber with adhesive backing as a stick on for $400 and. 3 month wait? Pass.

Decided to try re-installing the DB Carbon console trim pieces on my 992GTS. My reason for removing them was that they were slightly raised at the edges and didn't look like a stock fit. This time, I added some additional 3M double sided tape to the edges to eliminate the problem. I'm now happy with the look.

Yes they are...one of the first options I did in my car...well maybe second.

Very well made and fit is very good. Cannot tell they are stick ons and when the CF surround is added to the cup holder (center) it makes the car and ties it all together diminishing some of the piano black which is just too much IMHO. I did my interior dash trim too in matching gloss CF at the same time. .

Where did you get the trim pieces?

Also, did you do the door trims?

I would have gotten carbon fiber trim all wherever possible if it were not matte-I really like the shiny carbon fiber trim in the 991.2.

Stick ons would bother me regardless of how it looked. I like real.

DBCarbon.....No have not done doors yet...the require removal of doors and I think a bit more work to remove the aluminum trim to replace them with the CF ones. Not fully plug in play.

Yes understand how you feel but unfortunately NOONE makes any trim pieces for center console outside of the rear cup holder piece. Rest of that trim is all in piano black. . So CF overlay is the only option for now if you want to deal with those areas I guess.
