That is correct...my buddy was trying to secure a T allocation in NorCal @ MSRP (he lives in SoCal)...Porsche Marin told him that they can't sell to "non-locals." He has found several dealers in SoCal with C2, C2T, C2S, and C4S allocations...all with a min $7500-$10k mark up and spring delivery dates.

I have not sampled the Kool-Aid, I have drunk it like a fish.
I ordered a T, and released it to another customer because a previous PTS order miraculously appeared on my dealer's computer.
IMO, the T is special not not just because of the rear seat delete, the nice fabric inserts and other interior touches and the decals
and agate gray accents but because all of that is available with the smaller turbochargers with better throttle response and IMO sound.
Additionally, getting that package with sport suspension and manual transmission and rear wheel steer.
Furthermore, my preference is the lower unsprung weight of the base calipers and rotors.
In the Porsche world lightweight usually means expensive and with respect to the brakes, it's essentially free.
In Canyon runs I am having to restrain myself to stay responsible despite the lowest power 911 engine.

Or should I just eat the extra 15k and be done with this ****show?

Many thanks for your feedback in advance.
As already mentioned 16k isn’t too bad. When the GTS was first announced I was seeing ADMs of 10k in the LA area, then they went bananas. The .2 is imminent at this point, could wait and see what that is all about. Then get yourself a decent deal on a .1 CPO.

For what it’s worth I went the CPO route, did not want to play the ADM game.

The 992.1 GTS’ may not depreciate all that much if people are really up in arms about the MHEV 992.2
