Default What happens once in US?

I thought I was told by my SA that once the car reaches a US port - in addition to the required customs activities - that there were additional "build" items added to the car (perhaps related to the PCM?). Anyway - I may have misunderstood but though that's what added to the port wait times state side vs just the government doing its duty. Understandably - the additional logistics of arranging highway transport and their availability is part of the process as well.

Thanks.

They use kids from the local high schools - it's part of their mechanical vocational training experience.

Yes, they do everything from install options at the port to paintwork from transport damage. Last year several cars were stuck at port waiting on Bose amplifiers.

Ok - thanks. Maybe it was the amps that he mentioned.

So there are adjunct Porsche mechanics at the port of Baltimore?

And work release program from Baltimore City Detention Center as it's more equal opportunity for both male and female inmates.
