Default Tire fitment 255 F and 315 R on 992 S?

Hello

I habe a set of stock OEM RS Spyder wheels in the following spec:
8.5J x 20 ET 50
11.5J x 21 ET 67

Stock sizes noted are 245/35/ZR 20 and 305/30/ZR 21

I'm trying to switch over to Michelin All Seasons for mild winter but cannot find the 305 Rear. So instead I'm thinking of going with 255/35/ZR 20 and 315/30/ZR 21

Basically I'm increasing the width on both the front and rear by 10mm. Vehicle is 2023 992 S.

Any thoughts on this?

Another thing, the load range noted is "XL" and Serv Desc is 97Y for Fronts and 105V for rear. Not sure if that matters?

Thanls!

all seasons are useless in snow/slick conditions, that's coming from a guy who lives in Buffalo.

Agree. However you may be able to get away when the roads are dry whereas with summer compound you can't even stop well enough on dry roads below freezing.

Plenty of folks running 255+315 without problems. Those are often considered the max tire widths for those wheel widths.

Enjoy the new tires!
